What a Weekend!

Homecoming weekend has been hectic, crazy, and fully of awesome memories! Let me break down each day.
Friday: I had spent Thursday night in Rantoul for my brother's concert.  I woke up, picked up Kelsie, and made my way back to Bourbonnais.  Upon arrival I hurried off for the chapel dedication.  What an amazing service! The chapel is absolutely beautiful!!!  The choirs were amazing and the atmosphere of complete gratitude and love for God was amazing.  I can not wait to begin having chapel services there next semester.  After the service I went out to eat with Kayla, Kelsie, Steph, and others at Aurelios.  I love that place! They have such good pizza! After some fun shopping and work, I enjoyed a meal at Kayla's apartment. (She is actually a really good cook!)  Following dinner the three amigos enjoyed Olivet's basketball game. We won!!!  The night was so much fun, and was made better by time spent sharing past memories.
Saturday: We woke up and were on the road by 9:30, on our way to Six Flags! The car ride was so fun. Let me tell you...I love singing in the car. When we arrived at Six Flags we rode on Triple Play and then found out that the line for the Viper was super long.  We decided to ride the Orbit instead, and then left Six Flags for a while to go to the mall and grab some lunch.  We ate at Rainforest Cafe! I love that restaurant! The atmosphere is so cool! Then we built a bear for Jaelynn...I SO wanted a bear of my own! We headed back to Six Flags around 3, only to find that it was WAY busier.  We waited in line for the Viper for 2 hours before finally enjoying our one and only rollercoaster for the day.  We were exhausted, and quite frankly I was afraid of the monsters that were scheduled to come out any minute, so we left Six Flags and enjoyed the car ride back to Olivet.  Making a mad dash to our rooms to pack, we then; headed back to Rantoul.
Sunday: I worked the Recreation Department's Fall Festival with Kayla and John.  It was a lot of fun, but man those games wear me out.  After the festival I enjoyed some time at home and dinner at Casa before heading back to Olivet with Kayla.  (This weekend was filled with time in the car!)  We ran to my dorm when we got back and dressed in our costumes quickly.  I was a bee! I dressed in all black and used yellow duct tape to make my stripes.  I was pretty BEEautiful if I do say so myself. (I couldn't resist!)  The Costume Fest was amazing! People are so creative with their costumes! I can not wait to go again next year.  Well I have unpacked after this crazy weekend and am ready to head to bed now....although I have a feeling I will end up talking with my roommate instead.

Well....off I go! Oh and please disregard any typos or errors, it is late at night, and I do not have the energy to proof read!
