First
off, tomorrow is Groundhog Day! I’ve
already made my roommates make their predictions. As much as I am hoping that the Groundhog will not see his
shadow, I am afraid that he will. :( I feel like we are destined for six
more weeks of winter. But, oh
well.

I am
also extremely excited because this Sunday is the Superbowl. I love football. Well, kind of. I mean, when it is on I love watching
it and tend to get sucked into the game pretty easily. But, I probably wouldn’t decide to sit
down and watch a game by myself.
But the Superbowl is different.
There are the commercials that are hilarious, wonderful snacks, and time
to spend with friends. I cannot wait to have a party this Sunday night!

Valentine’s
Day-Though I do not have a boyfriend, I still love Valentine’s Day. I look at it from a classroom
perspective and am so excited to have my own classroom that I can do cute
holiday crafts with. I want to be
able to make cute Valentine’s Day gifts for my students and watch them pass out
all of their cards. Plus, how cute is that Valentine’s Day owl in this picture?

Last,
but certainly not least…is Leap Day! (also known as, my birthday) Though there isn’t a Leap Day
this year (so sad) I still like to think my birthday is in February. Since this year I will be turning 21, I’ve
decided to wait to celebrate my birthday until March 1st….because
technically that is when I actually turn a year older. Is that confusing? It probably is…because
quite frankly I am confused as to when my birthday is this year and when I will
celebrate. But nonetheless, I will
still claim this month as my month.
That is why
I love this month. Today begins
the day of a month full of blessings. :) And a month to
enjoy before the craziness of March begins.
Happy
Almost-Groundhog Day!
Do you think
he will see his shadow?
