Senior Status!

Obviously I am not the best with keeping up with blog posts.  But I honestly had an AMAZING semester.  Rather than write out all of the details of the semester I thought I would post some pictures to show how truly amazing and blessed my semester was this year.
I had a blast at the Block Party with friends who became more like sisters throughout the semester.

We played countless games of UNO.

I went to what may be my last time at the drive-in.

We visited a pumpkin patch and acted like zombies…we’re kind of weird. :)

We found all the checkpoints in a muddy maze.

I got to see Francesca Battistelli and Sidewalk Prophets with Tracy and Stephanie.

Rachel, Tracy, and Stephanie dressed like the 3 Musketeers, Sarah as Willy Wonka, and Kayla and I dressed as Nerds.

We visited the Bean…one of my favorite spots in Chicago.  While we were in Chicago we also passed out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the homeless.  It was so humbling to see their expressions and hear their kind words.

While spending the weekend at Tracy’s we also went to Feed My Starving.  I had so much fun packaging food to send to children in other countries. The organization definitely works hard to help the children while also providing an experience that is memorable.

We celebrated Sarah’s 21st Birthday by giving her 21 different presents!

We went to the Magnificent Mile of Lights and camped out for hours to get the perfect spot.

We went to the 12-12-12 grand opening of the recreation center!

Seriously look at this pool…isn’t it amazing?!

The track is HUGE…my roommates and I took our first lap around it on opening night.

The rock wall is taller than anyone should ever climb…there is no way I will ever be getting on that thing.

My semester definitely had its frustrating moments...but it was such an amazing time filled with so many blessings.  I couldn't imagine better friends and better memories than the ones I have made while at school.  It's hard to believe that I am already a senior...the time has definitely flown by.  I can't wait to see what is in store for next semester.
