Blessings

I am not in much of a writing mood today.  My day started earlier than usual and I am starting to feel extremely tried.  BUT I wanted to finally get back to the blog.  So instead of writing to catch up....I am going to post things for which I am extremely thankful.

On Saturday Sarah, Rachel, and I drove to Gibson City to go to one may be the last weekend the drive-in is open.  We had such a blast talking, eating popcorn, and just spending time together. :)  Even though it was so sad to think it may be the last time I get to go to the drive-in, I am so lad I was able to go with friends.

LEAVES!! I love walking to class and hearing the leaves crunch beneath my feet.  I seriously LOVE fall. <3  The season for pumpkin patches, sweaters, cool weather (but not cold), and of course the beautiful colors of the leaves.

Spontaneous moments!  Tonight my roommate Stephanie decided to have a fancy dinner out.  We enjoyed the Never Ending Pasta Bowl (although it ended at one bowl for us) at Olive Garden. I haven't laughed as much as I did tonight in a very long time.

Rachel! This girl practically lives in our apartment...which we love.  <3 Freshman year Stephanie and I always had people over, but last year that never seemed to happen. This year we have people over all of the time which I just love.  Rachel is such a great friend...even when she dominates UNO.  She is also my walking buddy.  She holds me accountable, which I definitely need.  Plus I learned tonight that she a bit of an evil side...no wonder we are such good friends. :)

UNO!  My apartment is addicted to this game.  We like the regular version of UNO as well, but lately have been mixing it up with the UNO Attack version.  We have spent way too many late nights have UNO parties. I am also extremely thankful for my roommates Stephanie and Sarah.  They put up with my craziness for a long time now.  They always make me laugh when I need it most, and I couldn't imagine enjoying college without them.

Tracy!  I <3 this girl.  She is such an amazing woman of God.  She is a wonderful roommate and friend.  She is a ninja secretly I believe, but we love her anyway. ;)  She dominates at UNO and is often the reason we play so late in the evening. ("We can't stop playing UNO until someone beats Tracy!")  I am so glad we are roommates this year, life just wouldn't be as fun without her around. 

My Cricut.  I adore my Cricut.  This summer was the first time I was really able to work with my Cricut and better understand how to use it.  I had a lazy Saturday recently and used that time to spice up the calendar a bit for fall.

I truly feel so blessed in my life.  God is constantly revealing how amazing and wonderful He is.  There have been times this semester where I have been frustrated with financial situations, sick, or just overwhelmed with all that lies ahead.   God has shown me time and time again how He always has things under control.
